Yellow Eel Fish Soup with Angelica Root is a Chinese Herbs Soup and good for health especially after childbirth. It can help to warms the uterus and nourish qi. Chinese Angelica Root is taste sweet and is warm in nature. It helps to nourish and tonify the blood, regulates menstruation, treats pain and soothes the intestines. Yellow Eel Fish which have a very good nature sweet meat also improve the taste with all these Chinese Herbs but be careful of the “Y” shape fish bone. Anyway, you may replace the fish to mutton, chicken or pork.

- 500 Grams Yellow Eel Fish (黄鳗鱼)
- 20 Grams Angelica root (当归)
- 10 Grams Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong (川芎)
- 20 Grams Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis (炙甘草)
- 20 Grams Codnopsis Pilosulae Radix (纹党参)
- 20 Grams Solomonseal Rhizome (YuZhu-玉竹)
- 5 pieces Red Dates (红枣)
- 1 table spoon Wolfberry (杞子)
- 1 tea spoon Salt
- 2 Liters Water
Step 1: Rinse and ready the Yellow Eel Fish.
Step 2: Ready the 20 gram of Angelica root (当归).
Step 3: Ready the 10gram of Radix Ligustici Chuanxiong (川芎).
Step 4: Ready the 20gram of Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis (炙甘草).
Step 5: Ready the 20gram of Codnopsis Pilosulae Radix (纹党参).
Step 6: Ready the 20gram of Solomonseal Rhizome (YuZhu-玉竹).
Step 7: Ready the 1 table spoons of Wolfberry (杞子).
Step 8: Ready the 10 pieces of Red Dates (红枣).
Step 9: Put in 2 liters of water for boiling then mix in all the ingredients to cook around 5 hours. Then mix in some salt and ready to serve in hot.
