Every day, people from all around the globe would ask, “what are healthy Indian foods to eat everyday?” I used to get similar questions often and I also struggled to find the best and healthy recipes. I tried out different cooking styles in Indian cuisines, discovered new ingredients and flavors and developed my own healthy recipes. Chicken Tandoori Masala

For this recipe, all you need to do is to cook chicken in tandoori masala. All you have to do is to roast a piece of chicken in a dry frying pan using a few drops of oil. The next step is to use some good quality Indian spices like cumin, red chilli powder, coriander powder etc and sizzling them slowly over the hot chicken. You should keep watching the spices for they will be popping out as they are being sizzled. Once done, you can cover the lid of the pan and let the chicken cook on its own.

After about 15 minutes, you can open the lid and check on the chicken. If it does not look like it is getting any hotter, then just leave it for another 10 minutes. It is always good to keep some raw vegetables or green leafy vegetables on our side. You can simply cut the vegetables into small pieces and add them to salads or even purees. Raw vegetables always taste better than cooked ones.

Instead, you can opt for healthy oils and spices like turmeric, coconut oil and mustard oil. Apart from avoiding them, you can also try out steaming your food instead of frying. This will help you in taking the nutrients and vitamins that are present in the ingredient evenly.
